What we store in your browser, and why.
Effective date: June 2026. This policy explains the limited use of cookies and browser storage on Mol (“the Service”).
Mol uses only the cookies and browser storage keys listed below. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any cross-site tracking technology.
| Name | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| sb-<ref>-auth-token | Cookie (httpOnly, Secure) | Supabase authentication session. Keeps you signed in across page loads. Set on sign-in; cleared on sign-out. |
| sidebar_state | Cookie | Remembers whether the application sidebar is expanded or collapsed. No personal data; purely a UI preference. |
| mol_currency | localStorage (not a cookie) | Stores your preferred display currency (e.g. INR, USD). Stays in your browser; never sent to our servers. |
The session cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function. Under Indian IT law and prevailing B2B SaaS practice, strictly necessary cookies do not require separate consent. The sidebar_state cookie is set on the basis of legitimate interest (improving usability); it holds no personal data and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.
Because Mol uses only strictly necessary cookies and one preference cookie — and no advertising or analytics cookies — we do not display a cookie consent banner. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify you.
You may delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the authentication session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Clearing sidebar_state or mol_currency will reset those preferences to defaults on your next visit.
Mol does not load third-party scripts that set their own cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Intercom, Hotjar, or any equivalent tracking service.
If we introduce new cookies, we will update the effective date and notify active users by email before the change takes effect.
